Can you believe we’re halfway through 2014?
I think that calls for a little break. It’s time to huddle up, reflect on achievements and plan your amazing success for the rest of the year. Whether you’re a wordsmith, playful or creative person, there’s a way to dream up the best six months yet to come…
Wordsmith: If you read my first blog of the year and listed the five things that need to happen for 2014 to be your best year yet, you might like to go back to that list and reflect on your focus for the next six months to turn those dreams into reality. And if some of them are already achieved, why not set up new ones?
Playful: Another way to identify areas that deserve your attention is to complete a ‘wheel of life’ (check out my blog ‘When priorities lead to surprises‘ for an explanation). Pick the three areas where the gap between where you would like to be and where you are are the greatest, and set yourself goals to work on over the next six months to help bridge these gaps.
Creative: My other favourite is creating a dream board. Get magazines, scissors, pens, glue and a large cardboard out and let your creativity do the work.
I wish you a truly amazing second half of 2014.
